The ladies of St. Ansgar's produced a fine, commemorative "cross stitch embroidery" as a going away present for departing Pastor Sid Nelson, which was presented to him in 1981.
It was designed by Jette Blair and cross-stitched by many of the ladies at St. Ansgar's at the time. Rosa and Jette's mother did large portions of it, many others did smaller portions. It was meant to be a work by all the ladies of the DLA, which was quite sizeable at the time. Other women who were not members of DLA, Eli Ross-Jensen, for instance, contributed as well.
