The noted Corona Guitar Kvartet from Denmark held a concert at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church on Tuesday April 4 at 7:30 p.m. The Quartet, which had played in Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto on two earlier tours, played the music of Maurice Ravel, Thomas Morley, Astor Piazzola, and several exciting contemporary composers. (See the programme below.) Their newly released CD was available at the concert. They were in Montreal to participate in the Montreal Guitar Festival and to give Masterclasses, before they continued their tour to Toronto, Lakefield and Quebec City.
