Holy Week & Easter, 2013
After the discipline of Lent, we opened Holy Week with the traditional procession in from the Hall on Palm Sunday, carrying palm fronds and singing joyously. No photographs were taken during our Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services, nor at the Easter Vigil at St. John's Lutheran Church. We resume the photo essay with our Easter Breakfast, traditionally cooked by the men of the congregation. We then had a full church for the Easter morning Resurrection Service, the highlight of the Church year.
(Alas, our photographer's camera malfunctioned during this, and several subsequent, events and so many of the pictures taken were lost. Some that remain may be slightly out of focus.)
